Advanced Open Water Diver
About this Course
The PADI Advanced Open Water course is your gateway to more depth (30 metres max) and more awesome dive sites, including the magical allure of wrecks. It includes five boat dives with the corresponding knowledge development handled via the excellent PADI eLearning platform.
There is much choice for the three elective dives. Suitable options with us include Search & Recovery, Dive Against Debris, Surface Marker Buoy, Digital Underwater Imaging, Fish ID and Underwater Naturalist. These are in addition to the two compulsory dives of Deep and Underwater Navigation.
“Thinking like a Diver” is a central theme developing the all important judgement to progress to true autonomy.

Pre-Requisites
- 12 years old (15 years old to access 30 metres)
- To want to do it
- PADI Medical form signed by a General Pratictioner
- Completed admin forms and theory on the PADI eLearning platform
Program
day 1 AND 2
The meet up times are 8.30am and 2.00pm respectively, with sessions finishing at roughly Midday and 5.30pm respectively. The preferred option is to do the course over 2.5 continuous days but scheduling can be flexible, to an extent. Another option is over five morning dives.
