Deep Diver Specialty
About this Course
That wreck/stunning pinnacle/awesome vertical drop off lies between 30 and 40m. The more experienced divers in the club talk about this particular dive all the time and you can’t do it as an Advanced Open Water Diver! Solution? The PADI Deep Diver Specialty is a fun and rewarding course that will acclimatise you to diving between 30 and 40 metres.
This certification is also one of the requirements to be able to dive autonomously to 40 metres in France via training exclusively in the PADI system (you also need to be certified Rescue Diver and be capable of navigating and deploying a SMB).
What's included?
- Four Open Water dives
- Tuition by an experienced PADI Course Director
- Theory via the excellent PADI eLearning platform
- Diving equipment rental (we highly recommend purchase your own dive computer, reel, dive light, slate and surface marker buoy)
- PADI certification fees
Pre-Requisites
- 15 years old
- To want to do it
- Adventure Diver certification or equivalent
- PADI Medical form signed by a General Pratictioner within 12 months
Program
day 1 AND 2
RDV times for the dives are 8.30am and we highly recommend this Specialty is done over four mornings. The dives will be finished at Midday and it is possible to do other training or fun dives in the afternoon.
